Our Legacy & Educational Journey

A legacy of vision, dedication, and service to education since 1975 — shaping generations with values, discipline, and excellence.

History of the Institution

The educational journey of our institution began in 1975 with the establishment of Social Model Senior Secondary School, affiliated to the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The school was founded by the visionary educationist Smt. K. D. Kalia Ji, with a deep commitment to educate the masses.

With time, the institution grew in strength and reputation. Under the guidance and leadership of her son Mr. Lovel Kalia, the school expanded from primary education to senior secondary level, strengthening both academics and infrastructure.

In 2008, keeping pace with evolving educational needs, the group established Social Convent International School, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), marking a new era of national-level curriculum and holistic learning.

Founder’s Message

Smt. K. D. Kalia

Education has always been my mission and my service to society. When this institution was founded in 1975, the aim was to create an environment where children learn values, discipline, and knowledge together.

It is a blessing to witness this vision grow across generations. I extend my heartfelt blessings to all students, teachers, and parents who continue this journey of learning and excellence.

Mr. Lovel Kalia

Carrying forward the vision laid by my mother has been a responsibility and an honour. Education must evolve with time while staying rooted in strong moral values.

The establishment of Social Convent International School in 2008 was a step towards providing students with broader exposure, national curriculum standards, and a future-ready education system.

Our commitment remains to nurture confident, responsible, and capable individuals who contribute positively to society and the nation.
